Desserts and Pastries

Although the focus of the Kathryn Taylor Chocolates will always be bon bons...we’ve tried to balance out the chocolate case with a few pastries and cookies.  Fresh fruit tarts and Napoleons, something we call a praline deco cake and a hazelnut dacquoise are individual desserts that rotate with frangipane tarts and crème brule among others (the chef gets bored).   We keep Florentines, checkerboards and chocolate pistachio biscotti.  We make a few whole desserts to take away for dinner parties.  And then of course there’s a scone, a savory biscuit and a quiche. We are so happy to have discovered Stumptown Coffee.  They have the exacting attention to taste and detail that makes a pastry chef and a chocolatier happy.  A perfect cup of coffee to complement a quiet moment with your chocolate.
