Finding The Chocolate Shop On Orcas Island

We are working on being less difficult to find.  There are only 2 streets in this town…However, we are tucked back here in Eastsound Square behind Mia’s and across from Olga’s.  Happily  the couple last week who found us once, and then somehow lost us for 3 days of looking before finding us again was tenacious.   “we weren’t giving up” they said.  And we are grateful to all of our neighbors who recommend us to their guests and customers.  Susan from Crow Valley Pottery has walked people to our doorstep and pointed inside.  People have also found us by other means. “ WHAT?!!” We’re often asked accusingly,” IS THAT THAT YOU ARE MAKING?!”  Caramel is a fabulous aroma, I don’t care who’s making it – and ours perfumes the square almost all the way out to the waterfront when its being made, and that bubbling pot of goodness  has drawn many a confused traveler to our tiny shop.   Also there’s Tracy from the Outlook Hotel and the girls at Salon Mir Toi who are strong supporters, and rather vocal about it. The Salon is moving to a few blocks away and the owners have suggested building an underground tunnel to our door. So.  If you can find us, and we’re hoping you will, we’ll do our best to have a few treats in store.
